PJ, a Black Lab

Mary Blinn (Board Member) graciously started PJ's sponsorship.

We are very pleased to announce that PJ has been successfully placed in his new forever home. Not all puppies are meant to be in our program and that is the case with PJ. He is a very active dog and needed a very special placement that would meet his needs to live a happy and healthy life.

Steve Richardson, his wife Alexis, and son Bolden, of Dunnellon, Florida are PJ’s new family. Although PJ is not being placed as a service dog, he will be able to help Steve if the need arises. Steve and PJ spend a lot of quality time together in the woods and fishing.

Steve is the agriculture teacher at Lecanto High School. Many days PJ goes to LHS and loves it at the schools “farm” working with the students. PJ has the opportunity to not only work with these classes, but is the newest member of the “Lecanto Dirt Farmers” FFA, Future Farmers of America club. We think you can see as we did, what a perfect match this is.
