Sarah, Female Gordon Setter

We are proud to introduce “Tandera’s Still The One” AKA “Sarah”

We would like to thank Carla Joyce of Tandera Gordon Setters; co-owner Nancy Lovelady and Char Reding for the recent placement of "Tandera's Still The One" aka "Sarah" with our Founder - CEO Diane White for her personal Medical Alert Dog.

Sarah is seventeen months old and getting a late start on her training. Considering her job will not be for mobility, she will not require the intensive training Heroes gives most pups. Heroes typically starts it's puppies at 8 - 10 weeks of age and are in training up to two years before being placed with their person.

Although an intelligent, dedicated breed, Gordon Setters are not commonly used for a service dog. Sarah has some obstacles to overcome but has the intelligence and the drive to do so. Please come back to visit Sarah's web page and read about her adventures.
