Veterans
 |
They enter with two arms, two legs, all of their fingers and all of their toes, able bodied to carry on the duties to our country that they have chosen to accept. They have fought for our freedom, sacrificing their physical bodies as well as sometimes their minds in order to maintain the freedom our proud country stands for. |
They return to us, less arms, less legs, and missing their fingers or their toes. Their minds not the same as before they fought for us. Still, their pride for the job they have done for everyone stands above the disabled bodies and minds they bring home. Elderly or young...
They are our United States Veterans!

We are proud to be able to serve you as you have done for us.
HERO ASSISTANCE DOGS can help ease the difficulties of everyday life that our fallen heroes now face. An assistance dog can help with things that these wonderful Veterans now have difficulty doing on their own or for themselves. Some of these tasks include opening doors, turning on and off light switches, retrieving objects that may be out of reach or needed, pulling wheelchairs, barking for alert, finding another person, assisting ambulatory persons to walk by providing balance and counter balance, and other tasks which may be trained for individual needs.
If you are one of our Veterans, we want to say Thank You! If you may be in need of an assistance dog to help you through your everyday life, or you know someone who does, please complete the following Application Form and submit it to us. Please contact us if you have any questions or need further information about our organization or a Hero assistance dog.
